Matt Sullivan and Jon Lewis have been playing together for donkey's years in an enormous variety of styles. Of late (14 years or so) they've been playing Bossa Novas, Rumbas, Hot Club and inappropriate guitar versions of Thelonious Monk and Charlie Parker tunes. And a few originals in there too. All in a flamenco style...that's right, not a plectrum to be seen....
They've played at venues as diverse as Secret Garden Party, Blenheim Palace, Buddhafield Festival, Warwick Arts Centre, Henley Regatta, Corsham Arts Centre, Waveform Festival (yes really), The Mill Arts Centre, Small World and Big Green Gatherings, the Nags Knackers at Napton and the ill-fated "Coals to Newcastle" busking tour of Andalusia.
Sometimes they play trio (with Matt Watson on double bass), and quartet gigs too - keep getting asked about that, so watch this space... You've probably seen them separately at lots of other festivals too with Le Cod Afrique, TwoManTing and Against the Grain, or at weddings, parties, and endless pub and restaurant gigs....
