The Gren Bartley Trio
Gren Bartley is a widely praised and accomplished musician. Over the past few years he has honed his musical craft. He’stoured the length and breadth of the UK and much of Europe, writing & recording severalalbums worth of new material and working with respected & talented musicians and producers. The results of Gren’s work are really worth hearing live, or on his studio recordings.
His album ‘Magnificent Creatures’ was released in the Spring of 2015 to great reviews. With production by Birmingham based Gavin Monaghan (Robert Plant, Ryan Adams, Nizlopi, Ocean Colour Scene etc...), and featuring a full folk band sound, the record built on the reputation of his previous two albums.
Gren toured the album with his band at venues and festivals throughout the UK and Europe in 2015 / 2016. Stunning harmonies, driving percussion and intricate string arrangements for cello and violin, the new line up captivated audiences across the UK.
For 2109 Gren is turning to a more stripped back soundand has written a new albumoftunes and songs exploring his love of the slide and acoustic folk guitar. Gren releasedthe new album Quiet exclusively on line in late 2018.https://grenbartley.bandcamp.com/album/quiet
